What is the 4-H Livestock Show
The 4-H Livestock Show is an annual event held prior to the Cooke County Youth Fair. It is an opportunity for Cooke County 4-H members to show and exhibit their livestock projects in another competition.
The livestock show operates solely under the direction of the AgriLife Extension Office and overseen by Phyllis Griffin, Cooke County 4-H & Youth Development Extension Agent. The show is held on one day at the Cooke County Fairgrounds Barn.
This is not to be confused with the Cooke County Youth Fair. The Youth Fair is overseen by the Youth Fair Board and is held over the period of one week at various schools in the county.
