Sunflower and Pumpkin Growing Contest
This contest is open to any youth in Cooke County. We are wanting to encourage youth to grow something. Growing plants and raising animals can teach kids many valuable lessons in responsibility. Kids also gain a sense of pride by seeing what they have accomplished. The rules are simple. Plant a seed and watch it grow. Towards the end of harvest time, we will notify all participants to bring their sunflowers to our office and be judged. This is a great activity to complete as a family.
